In 1975, perspective ZAZ cars received rounded body shapes and original signal lighting equipment. The cars became harmonious and no longer gave the impression of “Frankenstein’s monsters.”
There are numerous photographs of the all-wheel drive hatchback ZAZ-1103 and a single shot of a sedan with a similar appearance. It is unknown whether at least one front-wheel drive hatchback was produced. It can be assumed that in 1974 and 1975, Perspective cars were built only in the form of all-wheel drive ZAZ-1103 hatchbacks and front-wheel drive sedans, which received the index of the base model ZAZ-1102.
The only shot of a sedan in this generation of Perspectives is known. Presumably it was assigned the index of the base model of the family – ZAZ-1102.
The all-wheel drive hatchback ZAZ-1103 was demonstrated at the Moscow NAMI Institute and was photographed in detail there. The vehicle was distinguished by the presence of wheel gears, which increased the ground clearance from 180 to 220 mm, and outstanding geometric cross-country ability: the approach angle was 48°, the departure angle was 52°.
