A prototype of a van with a closed body based on the Moskvich-434 car was developed at the beginning of 1970. In April, the vehicle entered testing together with a similar Izh-6G pickup truck. For these cars, only the internal indexing of the car plant was used; they did not receive an industry index.

The tests lasted several months and ended in June 1970. The vehicle was superior to the Moskvich-434 van in terms of consumer properties, but it was not accepted for production for technological reasons – the increased width of the body required reworking the already ordered conveyors.
